What we do and what we have accomplished?

• Own video portal and video production, producing around 250 educational videos and shows per year.
• Online TV with live program – Studio12.tv - Studio12.tv.
• organizing 7-8 own events per year dedicated to exploring topics of sustainable personal and social development - Pogovorni večeri Studia 12.
• educational workshops on video production (from filming to editing).

 

Top achievements:

• April 2011 – World Summit Award nominees as the best e-Content example in e-Learning & Education from Slovenia (World Summit Award | The World's Best Interactive Contents (World Summit Award).
• September 2010 – 1st and 2nd prize in the category for “best NGO video” and 1st prize in the category of “most friendly journalist 2010” at LUPA festival (LUPA 2010).
• Producing a documentary film “Being a Woman in Uganda” that received a label “above average” as well as a recommendation to watch by STOP magazine (revija STOP) and was shown in Slovenian movie theaters.
• In cooperation with the Council of Europe Information Office in Slovenia we produced a DVD in support of the campaign "Speak up against discrimination" that was sent to 95% of Slovene primary and secondary schools.
• We set up an open outdoor mobile TV studio (“Odprti studio”) at Slovene NGO festival (LUPA 2010) and provided a live streaming of interviews with various NGO representatives as well as of the event itself.
• In collaboration with the Institute for electronic participation we established a concept and practice of video e-participation within NGO projects. This introduces an innovative, citizens-friendly and interactive way of participating in live events, conferences and decision making processes.

We produce 3 shows of "Duhovni utrip series" per year that are broadcasted on national TV.

That we are a national contact point of:
MEDEA AWARDS, that encourages innovation and good practice in the use of media (audio, video, graphics and animation) in education.

That we are a tree guardian at:
The labyrinth of art, a special park that links the culture of enjoying a good book with walking as an art and is designated to the culture of spirit.
